Anne M. Elliott age 58 of Washington, DC, and formerly of DeKalb, IL, died on February 18, 2013 in her residence in Washington, DC. She was born on April 17, 1954 in DeKalb, IL, and was the daughter of Howard Elliott, and Jeanne A. (Pyfer) Plesa.

Anne was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in DeKalb, and Chi Omega Sorority at N.I.U. Anne graduated from DeKalb High School in 1972, and then Northern Illinois University getting her degree in Political Science. She then received her Law Degree from DePaul University in Chicago.

Survivors include: father: Michael Plesa of DeKalb, sisters: Susan (Ken) Harris of Houston, TX, Kathy (Steve) Trumbo of Loves Park, Donna (Bill) Doering of Mundelein, Barbara (Geoff) Atkinson of Sussex, WI, Jennifer Plesa of Denver, CO, brother: Dennis Elliott of DeKalb, and several nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by: mother: Jeanne Plesa, father: Howard Elliott, and brother: John Elliott.

Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday February 26, 2013 at 10:30am in the St. Mary Catholic Church in DeKalb, IL, with Father Kenneth Anderson. Burial will follow in Fairview Park Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Tuesday February 26, 2013 at 9:30am till the time of the service in the church. Memorials may be made to the family to be established at a later date.
