Arlin T. "Buster" Harrison

Arlin T. "Buster" Harrison, age 85, of DeKalb, IL. Passed away Friday July 23, 2021, in Rochelle, IL.  Graveside services are 2:00 PM Thursday July 29, 2021, at the Hebron Cemetery in Hebron, Indiana where military rites will be conducted.  Visitation is from 4-7 PM Wednesday at the Finch Funeral Home in DeKalb.  A memorial fund will be established.

Arlin was born May 14, 1936, in Lake County, Indiana to Lewis and Pearl Howe Harrison.  He attended the local schools and was a U.S. Army Veteran. Arlin was united in marriage to Mary Berkan in Madison WI. and later married Linda Gosnell.

He was employed at Anderson Drywall and later worked as a drywaller for Painters District Council # 30 retiring in 1998.  He enjoyed fishing, gardening, and visiting friends and family.

He is survived by 5 children, Robert Harrison of Aledo, IL, Sandra Jordan and husband, Bobbie of Murphysboro, TN, Eric Harrison of Tennessee, Edwin and wife, Judy Harrison of Rochelle, IL, Paul Harrison of Chana, IL, 1 stepson David and wife, Shannon Gosnell of DeKalb, IL, 12 grandchildren, several great grandchildren. 1 sister Ila (Harry) Schiesser of Ohio and several nieces and nephews.

His parents, wife Linda, 1 son Jeffery, 1 sister Cleo and 1 brother Robert preceded him in death.
