Billy Dean Anderson, 68, of 717 n 5th street Dekalb, IL, died Wednesday September 24th at 10:45 p.m., in his home in Dekalb, Illinois. Cause of death was cancer.

He was born on June 21, 1957, to Wanda and Darence Anderson in Dekalb, IL.

Bill attended IVVC college for maintenance plumbing, HVAC and Electrical and was an honorary member of the Dekalb Moose Lodge from 1979 up to his death and held various positions one being the Governor. He loved to play darts and was the #1 player in all of Dekalb County. He enjoyed fishing and watching Bears football.

He married Cynthia Matheny on December 12, 1985, and they were married for 40 years and they had 3 children, 3 boys Joey, Daniel and Eric Zeiter.

He worked as a maintenance man for Parkside Drive for 21 years and was still employed and working there.

Billy Anderson is survived by spouse Cynthia Anderson and 13 grandchildren: Joey, Daniel and Eric Zeiter, Alex, Cameron, Conner, Erica, Jonathan, Joseph, Natalie, Owen, Myles, Ashley, Will, Brianna and Tyler. Great grandchildren Liam, Callie, Alyvia, Ella and Cole. Siblings Charlie, Gene, Beverly, Susan and Joann.

He was preceded in death by his parents Wanda and Darence Anderson.

There will be a celebration of life at a later date.

Cremation services were done by Finch Funeral Home.
