Bonnie S. Swanson

Bonnie S. Swanson 72 passed away surrounded by her family on September 14, 2022, at Bethany Health Care and Rehabilitation. She was born March 6, 1950, in Rochelle, IL and was the daughter of Louis and Mary (Shempert) Byars.

Bonnie married Carl Swanson III on May 15, 1970, in Rochelle, IL. She worked and retired from General Electric in DeKalb. Bonnie enjoyed watching murder mystery shows, spending time with her family especially watching her grandchildren's sporting events.

Survivors include husband Carl A. Swanson III of DeKalb, two sons: Brandon (Christy) Swanson of DeKalb and Brian Swanson of DeKalb (Jenny Swanson). Four grandchildren; Travis, Ryann, Ella, and Evan. Two brothers; Larry (Loni) Byars of Dixon and Gary (Ronda) Byars of Dixon. She was preceded in death by her parents.
