Charles R. Langele

Charles R. Langele 81, of Dixon passed away on Tuesday, June 23, 2026, at Bethany Healthcare and Rehabilitation in DeKalb. He was born April 15, 1945, in Berwyn, IL and was the son of Wilbur and Edna (Spicer) Langele.

Charles served in the United States Marine Corp. He worked at Mepsoc in West Chicago as a hydraulic specialist on meat packing machines for 25 years. He was married to the late Emily J. Blazek who preceded him in death on July 13, 2013.

Survivors include; sons; Kyle Langele of Cortland and David (Taren) Langele of Cortland. Brother; Bill (Ruth) Langele of Brookfield and grandchildren; Jonathon Langele, Jenna Langele and Jaylynn Langele all of Cortland. He was preceded in death by his parents and wife Emily.
