David A. Jacobson

David A. Jacobson, DeKalb, died on Tuesday, November 29, 2022.  He was born March 13, 1952, in Chicago, the devoted son of Eve and Semel Jacobson.  Dave spent his early life in Chicago and Oregon, IL.  He was a proud graduate of the University of New Mexico.  Until his retirement, Dave worked in his father's business, Metal Reclaimers, in Oregon.  David is survived by his adored daughter, Libby Satthoff Raih, her husband Dustin Raih and their son Warrick.  He is also survived by his life partner, Melissa (Missy) Garman.  The graveside service will be held Wednesday, November 30, at 1:00pm at Garden of Shalom at Fairview Park Cemetery.  Rabbi Chesky Rothman, Chabad of Rockford, officiating.
