Debra L. Gwaltney

Debra L. Gwaltney age 65 of DeKalb, IL, died on Saturday January 30, 2021 in the Prairie Crossing Living and Rehab Center in Shabbona, IL. She was born on December 7, 1955 in DeKalb and was the daughter of Claudis L. and Dorothy V. (Little) Gwaltney.

Debra graduated from DeKalb High School in the class of 1973, and then received her Nursing Degree from Kishwaukee College. She was a registered nurse for many years working at Kishwaukee Hospital and Rockford Memorial Hospital.

Survivors include; sister; Karen Roberds of DeKalb, nieces; Amanda (Jeremy) Koga of DeKalb, Randalynn (Robert) Stowe of Freeport, great-nephew; Jacob Koga of DeKalb, aunts; Leona Little of Sycamore, Ruby Miller of St. Charles, MO, and numerous cousins, and her beloved cat; Tilley Debra was preceded in death by her parents.

Graveside service will be held on Friday February 5, 2021 at 11:00 am in Fairview Park Cemetery in DeKalb. Cremation was entrusted to Finch Funeral Home 310 Oak St. DeKalb, IL, 60115 (815) 758-3841.
