Dolores Trotter

Dolores Trotter 90, of DeKalb died Friday, August 11, 2017 at DeKalb County Rehab and Nursing Center in DeKalb.  She was born February 21, 1927 in Jonathan Creek Township, IL and was the daughter of Jerome B. and Lina C. (Young) Trotter.

She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in DeKalb since she was eleven years old.  Dolores loved playing games and family time.

Survivors include; Delbert (H. Corrine) Trotter of DeKalb and several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents, four brothers; Robert, Selvin, Alfred, and Freddie.  Three sisters Lina, Cecelia and an infant sister.

Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, August 19, 2017 at 10:30am at St. Mary Catholic Church in DeKalb with Father Dean Russell officiating.  Burial will be held immediately following the service at St. Mary Cemetery in DeKalb.  Visitation will be held on Friday, August 18, 2017 from 4:00pm-6:00pm at Finch Funeral Home in DeKalb with a wake service at 5:30pm.  Memorials can be made to the family to be established at a later date.  Arrangements were entrusted to Finch Funeral Home 310 Oak St. DeKalb, IL 60115 815-758-3841.
