Eleanor F. Pasquale

Eleanor F. Pasquale came to live with Henrietta (Luhne) and Louis Pasquale on August 17, 1922, in the city of Chicago. She went to be with her Lord and Savior on November 4, 2022, in DeKalb, IL.

Eleanor's involvement with The Salvation Army introduced her to DeKalb in 1949. After serving four years in the city, she was given two other appointments. Resigning in 1955 from The Salvation Army she came back to make DeKalb her hometown.

She was employed at the (then) DeKalb Ogle Telephone Company and retired from Contel with 27 years of service.

Eleanor sang at many churches in the area on Sunday mornings and for special occasions. She could be heard at Grange meetings, senior citizen group and other gatherings. Additionally, she sang at several churches out of state.

Eleanor enjoyed serving people and doing what she could to make life more enjoyable for them. She was a driver for Med-Vac as well as many individuals.

Her survivors are a host of friends she has made along the way and is grateful for every one of them.

A special thank you to Bob and Linda Abel and Edward and Barbara Higgins for being there for her and taking care of all the final plans.
