Eric Joseph Stelling

Eric Joseph Stelling 41, passed away unexpectedly August 10, 2016 at Carle Foundation Hospital in Champaign, IL. He was the son of Dennis and Sue (Marshall) Stelling of DeKalb.

Eric graduated from DeKalb High School in 1993. He currently was working as a photographer for a real estate agency in the Champaign/Urbana area.

He leaves behind his parents, brother Steve (Kate Joranson), niece Janine and life partner Heidi Vasel, among uncles, aunts, and many cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Howard and Helen Marshall and Bennett Stelling.

The memorial service will be held on Sunday, August 14, 2016 at 5:30pm at Finch Funeral Home with Rev. Robert Vaughn officiating. Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 14, 2016 from 4:00pm until the time of service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations to the DeKalb Public Library in memory of Eric, would be appreciated and can be sent to the funeral home.
