Eugene E. Mish

Eugene E. Mish 81 of DeKalb formerly of St. Charles and Paw Paw, died on Tuesday, January 26, 2021 at DeKalb County Rehab and Nursing Center.  He was born December 12, 1939 in Independence, WI and was the son of Lawrence and Monica (Kampa) Mish.

Gene married Ruby Christian on May 25, 1985 and had 35 years happily together.  Gene worked for many years at Sealmasters in Aurora eventually retiring from there.

Survivors include: wife Ruby of 35 years, 3 children; Keith (Pamella) Mish, Dawn Faber, and Troy (Kate) Mish.  Brothers and sisters; Louie Mish, Terry (Bob) Altergott, Sandy (Bryan) Slaby, Barbara Haug, Romelle Adank, and Adrian Mish and sister in laws; Pauline, Angie, and Jan Mish, Grandchildren; Shaun Stapleton, Brent Stapleton, McKenna Faber, Adam Mish, Nicholas Mish, and Ryan Mish. Special friend and fishing pal Bill Hermen.  Stepchildren; Mark (Andrea) Boomer and step grandchildren; Amanda (Mike McKay) Stewart, Alison (Ryan) Riffel, Nicole (George) Derosset, Chris (Nicole) Boomer, Meaghan Boomer Ballard and Zach (Jakki) Boomer.  Many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers and sisters; John (Phyllis) Mish, David Mish, Bernard Mish, Ernest Mish, Delores (Howard) Austin, sister-in-law; Joy Mish. Stepchild; Pamela Boomer and step grandchild; Andrew James Boomer.
