Gary "Hawk" H. Hoadley

Gary "Hawk" H. Hoadley 61, of Sycamore died Thursday, March 12, 2015 at Advocate Sherman Hospital in Elgin, IL. He was born June 5, 1953 in Sycamore and was the son of Harold and Lizette (Hunter) Hoadley.

Gary was married to the late Janet Hoadley who passed away fifteen years ago. Gary worked in the maintenance department at Burlington High School for the last ten years. He always enjoyed farming with his father. He wrote music, played guitar and sang with friends.

Survivors include, his sister Bonnie (John) Kramer, three nieces Kim Irving Owen, Jessica Strain and Jennifer Strain and five great nieces and nephews all of California. He was preceded in death by his wife and his parents.

Funeral service will be held on Saturday March 21, 2015 at 10:30am at Ronan-Moore-Finch Funeral Home 310 Oak St. DeKalb, IL 60115. The family requests blue jean attire at the funeral service. Burial will be immediately following the service at Fairview Park Cemetery in DeKalb. Memorials can be made to the family to be established at a later date.
