Gladys G. Ziebarth

Gladys G. Ziebarth 90, of DeKalb died Wednesday, July 08, 2015 at DeKalb County Rehab and Nursing Center. She was born March 9, 1925 in Keenes, IL and was the daughter of Jess and Mettie (Drew) Keen.

Gladys married Urban "Zeke" Ziebarth Jr. on April 4, 1947 in DeKalb. She worked for Del Monte in DeKalb. Gladys enjoyed gardening, loved flowers, music, listening to the radio and mowing her lawn.

Survivors include; daughter Karen (Robert) Tyne of DeKalb, a grandson Brian Laird of Shell Rock, IA, step-grandchildren; Stephanie Coyle, Robin (Chuck) Chester, and Robert Scott Tyne. Seven step great-grandchildren, and a sister Effie Hunsberger of Sterling, IL. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband "Zeke", sister Hattie Davis, brothers; Fred, Clyde, and Burl.

Funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 11, 2015 at 11:00am at Ronan-Moore-Finch Funeral Home with Pastor Kevin D. Spears of Fellowship Baptist Church of Sycamore officiating. Burial will be immediately following the service at Fairview Park Cemetery in DeKalb. Visitation will be held on Friday, July 10, 2015 from 5:00pm-7:00pm at Ronan-Moore-Finch Funeral Home.
