Jean M. Dale age 82 of DeKalb, IL, died on Monday August 23, 2010 in her residence in DeKalb. Born on August 8, 1928 in Chicago, IL, she was the daughter of Oluf N. and Hazel Mae (Newby) Dale.

Jean was a Physicians Assistant for one of the premier Heart Surgeons in Miami, FL. Then in 1975 she moved to DeKalb and eventually found work at the K-Mart. Jean was amazing person and was very independent as a double amputee, and loving presence for her family here in DeKalb. Jean graduated from foreman High School in 1946, she then attended and graduated in 1950 from Physicians School of Receptionist and Lab Technician in Miami, FL.

Survivors include: cousins: Sharon (Jim) Skala of DeKalb, and Joe (Michelle Gerber) Skala of CA. She was preceded in death by her parents.
