Jill Anne Swanson 58, of Rock Falls, IL formerly of Malta, IL died Monday, January 18, 2016 at Sauk Valley Senior Living in Rock Falls, IL. She was born September 19, 1957 in DeKalb and was the daughter of Robert and Carole (Francen) Swanson.
Jill attended schools for Special Ed at Ray Graham, NIU, and graduated from Notre Dame in 1979. She then moved to Sycamore at the Opportunity House Residence. She worked at the factory and outside in the community.
Jill is a member of the Malta Congregational Church where her church family have given her kindness, love and caring that helped her to be such a wonderful person. Because of health problems Jill has lived in Sauk Valley Senior Living in Rock Falls for 16 years. With lots of help of so many Jill has had a wonderful rich life.
Survivors include her father; Robert of DeKalb, her loving brother Ron (Jeanne). Her greatest joy being an aunt to Jordan (Jill), Colbie and Jacob and a great aunt to Justin, Cali, Cooper Swanson and Landon Hall and several aunts, uncles and cousins and many hero's in Jill's life, way too many to name but so very important to her. She was preceded in death by her mother Carole and grandparents Chester and Mildred Francen and Swan and Ruth Swanson.
Memorial Service will be held on Saturday January 23, 2016 at 2:30pm at Bethany Rehab and Health Care Center 3298 Resource Pkwy DeKalb with Rev. Robert Vaughn officiating. Burial will be at Malta Cemetery immediately following the service. Visitation will be held Saturday January 23, 2016 at 2:00pm until the time of service at Bethany Rehab and Health Care Center.
