Jon A. Shultz age 55 of DeKalb, IL, and formerly of Chicago, IL, died on Tuesday March 27, 2012 in his residence in DeKalb. Born on October 5, 1955 in Albion, MI, he was the son of Carl and Dorothy M. (Smith) Shultz.
Jon had worked for the Chicago Public School district for many years. He has lived in the DeKalb community since January of this year to help with his failing mother. He graduated from DeKalb High School in the class of 1974, he then attended Northern Illinois University earning his Bachelor?s degree, and he then attended DePaul University in Chicago earning his Masters.
Survivors include: children: Julianna and Alex Shultz both of Chicago, father Carl of FL, sisters: Gay Carlson of CA, Jill Gilliam of MT, and brother: Ryan of Chicago. Preceded in death by: mother: Dorothy.
