Joseph "Joey" M. Warren

Joseph "Joey" M. Warren 21, of Sycamore died Wednesday, July 14, 2021, at his home.  He was born in Evanston, IL on October 13, 1999, and is the son of Michael and Maria (Lambatos) Warren of Sycamore, IL.

Joey graduated from Sycamore High School in 2018 and Kishwaukee Community College with an associate degree and continued at Northern Illinois University where he was on the dean's list this last semester.  Entering into his final year at NIU he was then planning on enrolling into the graduate program in psychology, he always had a passion and love for helping people.

Joey played soccer all his life, starting at 5 years old and playing all the way through high school.  He had an adventurous spirit and he loved to live life to its fullest.

Joey worked at Home City Ice in Elgin, IL and delivered pizza for Rosati's in Sycamore.   He had so many friends that loved him and was a bright light in his friends and family's life he will be missed by many.  Joey loved his family dogs Jack and Abby, and they will miss the daily walks with him.

Survivors include; Parents, Michael and Maria Warren of Sycamore, brothers; Kevin (Jen Cordero) of Geneva, IL, Brian Warren and Nick Warren of Sycamore.  Grandparents; Dan and Dolores Lambatos of Schaumburg, IL and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.  He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Don and Jan Warren.  Joey is in heaven now, and is in the loving arms of his grandma Jan.

Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, July 22, 2021, at 1:00pm at First Lutheran Church 324 N Third St. DeKalb, IL with Pastor Janet Hunt officiating.  Burial will be immediately following at Fairview Park Cemetery in DeKalb.  Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 21, 2021, from 4:00pm-7:00pm at Finch Funeral Home.  Memorials can be made to the Sycamore High School boys soccer program.  Arrangements were entrusted to Finch Funeral Home 310 Oak St. DeKalb, IL 60115 815-758-3841.
