Josephine A. Braun
Age 86 of South Elgin and formerly of DeKalb, IL, died on Saturday November 11, 2017 in the Tower Hill Healthcare Center in South Elgin. She was born on February 11, 1931 in Chicago, IL, and was the daughter of James and Anna (Dorninger) Liotta.
Josephine was married to the late William "Bill" F. Marion on June 12, 1948 in Chicago, he preceded her in death in 1983, she then married Ronald F. Braun in 1988 in Chicago, he preceded her in death on November 30, 2004. Josephine was a loving homemaker and was a former member of St. Mary Catholic Church in DeKalb.
Survivors include: daughter: Cecilia (Richard) Colasuono, brother: Bernie Liotta, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by: parents, husbands: William and Ronald, sister: Rosalie, and a brother: Tony.
There will be no formal service and cremation will be handled by the Finch Crematory. Burial of cremains will be at a later date in Lakewood Memorial Park in Bartlett, IL. Arrangements were entrusted to: Finch Funeral Home 310 Oak St. DeKalb, IL, 60115 (815) 758-3841.
