On June 16, 2014 Joyce left this earth peacefully surrounded by her loving family at Season?s Hospice in Naperville, IL. She was born in Billings Montana on August 14, 1928 and was the daughter of James and Blanche (Penny) Pokarney, she and her family moved to DeKalb, IL when she was a young child.

She was united in marriage to Robert "Bob" Quebbeman in 1984. She had a long fulfilling career as a Respiratory Therapist at Kishwaukee Hospital in DeKalb. Her children and family meant everything to Joyce as well as her love for animals and reading.

She was an avid CUBS fan is still waiting for the "BIG WIN"

Her loving, gentle kind spirit will be missed by all that were fortunate enough to have known her.

She is survived by her children: Laurie (Mark) Phelps, Dean (Meegan) Hudson, granddaughter Kerry (Arthur) Ramos, sister Janet Zieman from Owasso, Oklahoma, bother in- law Robert (Bob) Holman from Olympia Fields, IL, many nieces and nephews and her beloved "Rusty Boy"

She was preceded in death by her parents?., husband Bob, grandmother Margaret and sister Margaret "Peggy" Holman.

A memorial service will be held Friday, June 20, 2014 at 3pm at Ronan-Moore-Finch Funeral Home with Pastor Robert Vaughn officiating. A visitation will be held on Friday, June 20, 2014 from 1pm until the time of service at the funeral home. Cremation will take place at Finch Crematory.
