Kathleen M. Gilliam

Kathleen M. Gilliam, age 66, of DeKalb passed on October 30, 2018, after her  battle with cancer. Beloved wife of Thomas A Gilliam for 40 years; daughter of the late Francis H. and Margaret (Sheehan) Gutrich.  Loving sister of Patricia  (Richard) Stitcher, Margaret (Robert) Mizera, Barbara (Mark) Flynn, Francis M. (Cindy) Gutrich.  Loving Sister-in-Law to Richard Cornwall, Charles Cornwall, Michael Gilliam (Yvonne), Marie Gilliam , deceased. Cherished aunt of many nieces and nephews.

Kathy attended St. Walter Grammar School, Mother Mc Auley Liberal Arts High School, Northern Illinois University, and graduated with a Master's Degree from Chicago State University. She was a  Chicago Public School teacher for 23 years. Kathy loved spending time with family, especially with her nieces and nephews. She enjoyed Bible Study, her dogs, swimming at the YMCA, boating, time with friends, dancing and music.
