Kathryn L. Anderson 90, of Malta formerly of DeKalb died Tuesday June 25, 2014 at Kishwaukee Hospital in DeKalb. She was born December 10, 1923 and was the daughter of Peter and Ana (Madzar) Suknaich.

Kathryn graduated from DeKalb Township High School. She married George V. Anderson on January 28, 1948 in DeKalb, IL. They lived in DeKalb until 1954 when she and George moved to Malta to help run the family farm. He preceded her in death on November 26, 2003. Kathryn also worked for Sycamore Coats for 33 years.

Survivors include; two sons Steven Anderson of Malta and Roger (Peg Rozhon) of DeKalb. A brother Marcus Suknaich and a sister Mary Vukovich and many nieces and nephews. Kathryn is preceded in death by her parents Peter and Ana, husband George, two brothers Peter and Joe four sisters, Sofija Suknaich, Matilda Wise, Martha Fulton, and Helen Alexander.
