Kimberly M. Wales

Kimberly M. Wales 49, of DeKalb, died Sunday, September 27, 2015 at CGH Medical Center in Sterling, IL. She was born April 27, 1966 in DeKalb and was the daughter of Michael Wales and Barbara Swanson.

Kimberly graduated from DeKalb High School in 1984 and from NIU 1991 with a degree in Interior Design. She enjoyed Fishing, Sudoku, talk radio especially NPR, she was heavily involved in many DeKalb Community Events. Kimberly worked at the DeKalb Wal-Mart for almost 20 years. She also owned and operated Reliable Custom Drapery Services.

Survivors include; mother Barbara Wales of Sycamore, father Michael (Tina) Wales of DeKalb. Three sisters; Jacqueline Schimmenti of Greensboro, NC, Rebecca Wales of DeKalb and Amanda (Lucas) Kollar of Rock Falls, IL. Two Brothers; Zachary and Jacob Wales both of DeKalb. Nieces; Adria and Chiara Schimmenti and nephews; Matthew Sparks, Samuel Kollar, Ethan Kollar, and Justin Kollar. Aunt; Deborah Swanson of Orland Park, IL and Uncle; Phillip (Jane) Wales of Tuscaloosa, AL and several cousins.
