Lina Dianne Timmann (Nelson)

Lina Dianne Timmann (Nelson), age 77, of DeKalb, Illinois, entered into eternal rest on November 2, 2026, at home, surrounded by her family.

Lina was born on July 7, 1949, to William and Helen Nelson. She married Jack Timmann on July 10, 1970, in Chicago, IL.

Lina enjoyed reading her Bible and singing hymns. She was a loving wife, mother, and homemaker. Lina chose to follow God at a young age and remained faithful to Him throughout her life. Her faith guided her through both the happy times and the challenges she faced.

She is survived by her husband, Jack Timmann; her children, Glen (Claudia) of Cambridge, MN, William (Randee) of O’Fallon, MO, and Jalyn Timmann of DeKalb, IL; seven grandchildren, Aidan, Nadia, Aaron, Noraa, Ashlynn, Hannah, and Wyatt; and three sisters Helen, Gail, and Tammi.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her son Brian, her brother Jack, and her sister Terri.

The Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 12, 2026, from 2:00pm-4:00pm at Finch Funeral Home in DeKalb. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, November 12, 2026, at 4:00pm at the funeral home. Burial will be held on Saturday, November 14, 2026, at 10:00am at Cedar Grove Cemetery in Salem, MO.
