Marcia L. Stroberg

Marcia L. Stroberg, 82, Shawnee, KS, died Saturday, March 6, 2021 after a long battle with Alzheimer's and a recent Coronavirus illness. She was born August 14, 1938 in Kansas City, MO and was adopted by Marshall and Louise McCabe of DeKalb, IL. Marcia grew up in DeKalb and married Donald Stroberg of Sycamore, IL on December 26, 1957. A job transfer brought Don and Marcia's family to Overland Park, KS in 1970. Her greatest joy in life was being a mother and grandmother and spending time with her family. She is survived by her three children, Dan (Karen) Stroberg, Tina (Steve) Jobe, and John (Vanda) Stroberg as well as her grandchildren Amanda Jobe and Shannon (Joe) McQuillen. She was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Donald Stroberg, her parents Marshall and Louise McCabe, her brother, Gary McCabe, and her infant son Floyd Lester Stroberg.
