Marion L. Fredrickson

Marion L. Fredrickson 88, lifelong resident of DeKalb passed away on Friday, September 4, 2015 at DeKalb County Rehab & Nursing Center. She was born August 12, 1927 and was the daughter of Frank A. and Sadie (King) Mueller Jr.

Marion worked as a material handler at Cooper Industries in Sycamore for 30 years before retiring in 1992. She enjoyed reading, doing word searches, watching cooking shows, and loved to do embroidery work. Marion's sense of humor will be missed by all who knew her.

Survivors include; six daughters; Linda Fredrickson of DeKalb, Bonnie Langley of DeKalb, Sharon (James) Reed of East Chicago, IN, Becky Jones of DeKalb, Vicki Schinke of Montgomery, AL, and Nancy Rodriguez of Cortland, IL. 19 grandchildren and 44 great-grandchildren. Marion is preceded in death by her parents, step-father Robert McGee, three sons; Thomas, Dennis, and James and two infant grandsons.

Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, September 8, 2015 at 12:00pm at Ronan-Moore-Finch Funeral Home with Reverend Deborah Kang of First United Methodist Church in DeKalb officiating. Burial will be immediately following the service at Fairview Park Cemetery. Visitation will be held Tuesday, September 8, 2015 at 10:00am until the time of service at the funeral home.
