Matthew John Williams age 36 of St. Cloud, FL, and formerly of DeKalb, IL, died on January 5, 2014 in his residence. He was born on February 3, 1977 in DeKalb, IL, and was the son of Jan Courtney-Williams, and Jim (Susan) Williams.

Matthew attended St. Mary Catholic School in DeKalb, and he then graduated from DeKalb High School in 1995. He then received his Associates Degree in Nursing from Broward College in Florida, he later received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing from Florida Atlantic University. Matthew was a Trauma Nurse at North Broward Medical Center in South Florida, he then became a Trauma Nurse and Director at Orlando Regional Medical Center, and his current job was an E.R Nurse at St. Cloud Regional Medical Center.

Survivors include: wife: Sandra, children: Isabella and Sebastian Williams, step-daughter: Gabriella all of St. Cloud, FL, mother: Jan Courtney-Williams of DeKalb, father: Jim (Susan) Williams of FL, brother: Patrick of Machesney Park, niece: Vivian Williams, grandparents: Robert (Vivian) Courtney of DeKalb, step-sisters: Carolyn (Rick) Calvo and Sherry (Jared) Dubin, and several aunts, uncles, and cousins. Preceded in death by: paternal grandparents: Archie (Lois) Williams, and cousin: Ben Williams.

Funeral Mass will be held on Monday January 27, 2014 at 10:00am in St. Mary Catholic Church in DeKalb with Father James Parker officiating. Burial will be in St. Mary Catholic Cemetery DeKalb following services. Memorials may be made to the family to be established at a later date.
