Michael M. Dorneden
Michael M. Dorneden age 66 of Sycamore, IL, died on Friday March 24, 2017 in his residence. Born on August 28, 1950 in DeKalb, IL, he was the son of Jack and Nona (Milburn) Dorneden.
Michael worked for the Sycamore Public Works for 28 years before his retirement. He graduated from DeKalb High School in the class of 1968, he also attended Kishwaukee College for 2 years. Michael was the lead singer for the TCB Band in the early 80's, he was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in DeKalb. He loved being around and helping people, and was an avid animal lover.
Survivors include: Fiancé Diana Walsh of Sycamore, good friend: Karla Dorneden of Sycamore, nephew: Christopher (Rebecca) Dorneden, niece: Camille Morrison, and several cousins. He was preceded in death by: parents, brother: Jack, and sister: Julie Mason.
Funeral service will be held on Wednesday March 29, 2017 at 11:00am in the Finch Funeral Home with Deacon Armando Regalado officiating. Burial will follow services at St. Mary Catholic Cemetery in DeKalb. Visitation will be held on Wednesday March 29, 2017 at 10:00 am till the time of the service in the funeral home.
