Patricia A. Carlson age 73 of DeKalb, IL died on Monday July 4, 2011 in the Kishwaukee Community Hospital in DeKalb. Born on August 1, 1937 in DeKalb, IL, she was the daughter of Charles and Anna (Meigs) Sohne.

Pat was married to the late Richard A. Carlson Sr. on May 5, 1956 in DeKalb, IL; he preceded her in death on September 17, 2010. Pat worked for the DeKalb Ag. and also for G.E. in DeKalb. She has lived her entire life in the DeKalb community, and was a member of First United Methodist Church in DeKalb. Pat graduated from DeKalb Township High School class of 1955.

Survivors include: children: Linda Carlson of DeKalb, Jacky (David) Mohr of DeKalb, Richard A. (Pamela) Carlson Jr, of Mesa, AZ, grandchildren: Caitlin Carlson of DeKalb, Richard A. Carlson III., Sierra Carlson, Mallory Carlson all of Mesa, AZ, brother: Charles (Patricia) Sohne of Sun City, AZ. Preceded in death by: parents, and husband: Richard.

A memorial visitation will be held on Wednesday July 27, 2011 at 5:00 pm till 7:00 pm in the Ronan-Moore-Finch Funeral Home. Cremation has taken place by the Finch Crematory. Burial will be in Fairview Park Cemetery Urn Garden in DeKalb on Thursday July 28, 2011 at 10:30 am. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the family to be established at later date.
