Paul B. Erker, age 49, died July 8, 2012 in University Wisconsin Hospital, Madison, WI. Paul was born March 21, 1963 in Elmhurst, IL the son of Horst F. & Hirlande (Schmitt) Erker. Paul graduated from DeKalb High School class of 1981. He attended University of Kentucky, Lexington, KY from 1981-1982 on a track scholarship in pole vault; he received an Associates Degree from Kishwaukee College. Paul was presently an Electric Motor Repairman in DeKalb with his father. Paul was a member of DeKalb Elks Lodge #765, DeKalb Moose Lodge, and Knights of Columbus, DeKalb, IL.

Paul is survived by his Parents: Horst & Hirlande Erker, DeKalb, IL; Daughters: Brittany M. Erker, DeKalb, IL and Carly C. Erker, Delray Beach, FL. Brother: John Erker, DeKalb, IL; 2 Sisters: Ramona (Louis) Triebold, Mundelein, IL and Karen Hoffman, West Dundee, IL. Special Friend: Tammy Svartoien, DeKalb, IL.

His Grandparents precede him in death.

Funeral Mass will be Friday July 13, 2012 at 10:30 A.M. in the Newman Catholic Center, DeKalb, IL. Visitation will be Thursday July 12, 2012 in Ronan-Moore-Finch Funeral, DeKalb, IL from 4:00 P.M. till 8:00 P.M. with Wake Prayers following.
