Petra Pasillas

Petra Pasillas 93, of DeKalb died Saturday, October 19, 2019 at Northwestern Medicine Kishwaukee Hospital in DeKalb.  She was born June 29, 1926 in Mexico and was the daughter of Miguel and Antonia (Villegas) Hernandez.

She was married to the late Francisco Pasillas who preceded her in death on November 20, 2014.  She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in DeKalb.  She enjoyed being a homemaker and spending time with her family.

Survivors include: four children; Maria Pasillas of DeKalb, Maria Virto of Rochelle, Guadalupe Guerrero of El Paso, TX and Miguel Pasillas of DeKalb and numerous grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband Francisco.

Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, October 23, 2019 at 10:30am at St. Mary Catholic Church in DeKalb with Father Darwin Flores officiating.  Burial will be immediately after the service at St. Mary Catholic Cemetery in DeKalb.  Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 23, 2019 at 9:30am until the time of service at the church.  Memorials may be made to the family to be established at a later date.  Arrangements were entrusted to Finch Funeral Home DeKalb 310 Oak St. DeKalb, IL 60115 815-758-3841.
