Ronald E. Nehring age 87 of Hinckley, IL, died on Tuesday August 24, 2010 in the O.S.F. St. Anthony Medical Center in Rockford, IL. Born on November 3, 1922 on the family farm in Hinckley, IL, Ronald was the son of Ivan E. and Norine E. (Lawrence) Nehring.

Ronald was married to the former Stella Sipavich on June 6, 1943 in Chicago, IL. Ronald farmed his entire adult life on the family farm in Hinckley. He was known by his peers, that if you wanted to get things done, Ronald was the man that could fix anything. He was a member of the St. Paul?s United Church of Christ in Hinckley. He was also a member of the DeKalb County Farm Bureau. If Ronald was not out working you could find him in watching his T.V. Ronald start his education in the one room grade school in Hinckley, he then graduated from Hinckley High School, and then attended North Central College in Naperville for 3 years.

Survivors include: wife: Stella of Hinckley, children: Joan Anderson of DeKalb, Chelon Nehring of Chicago, Dan (Jane) Nehring of Massachusetts, Alan (Lavon) Nehring of Sycamore, Ron I. Nehring of Hinckley, grandchildren: Aaron (Tia) Anderson, Ryan Anderson, Andrew Nehring, great-grandson: Aiden Anderson, brother: Wayne Nehring of DeKalb. Preceded in death by: parents, daughter: Susan Nehring.

Funeral Service will be held on Friday August 27, 2010 at 1:00 pm in the Ronan-Moore-Finch Funeral Home with Pastor David Marquardt officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Park Cemetery DeKalb. Visitation will be held on Friday August 27, 2010 at 11:00 am till the time of the service in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the National Kidney Foundation 215 W.
