Sean Patrick Scanlon

It is with great sadness that the family of Sean Patrick Scanlon announces his passing on September 25, 2018, at the age of 33 years old. Sean was born April 2, 1985 in Dearborn, Michigan. Sean will be lovingly remembered by his parents Donna and Mark Scanlon Sr., older brother Mark Scanlon Jr., younger sister Colleen (Robert) Russell, nieces Kayleigh and Delaney Scanlon, long-time friend Dorothy Clucas, and countless others.

Sean was a talented artist whose music was loved by many. Sean's passion for music and joy of bringing people together led him to open Fireside Brewing in Holland, Michigan. We will remember Sean as a kind, outgoing, gentle soul. Sean knew how to make others laugh and feel included. No one was ever a stranger when Sean was around.

A Celebration of Life will be held Sunday, October 7, 2018 at 12:00 P.M. at O'Leary's Ale House 260 East Lincoln Highway DeKalb, Illinois. All are welcome. Please bring your favorite picture of Sean for the family's memory album.
