Sheila Woodruff, 73, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Thursday, October 30th, 2025.  Sheila was born on March 2nd, 1952, to Hubert and Marilyn (Albin) Bankson in Decatur, IL.  Sheila grew up as a farm girl showing livestock, playing in the band, and excelling in gymnastics.  She attended Western Illinois University where she played in the band and joined the Chi Alpha Xi sorority before graduating with a Bachelor's Degree in Animal Science.  Sheila worked as a seamstress her entire life, eventually owning her own bridal store.

Sheila is survived by her sister Carol Ann Long (Bob Scheetz), and brothers Duane (Ruth Ann) Bankson, and Kim (Susan) Bankson as well as numerous nieces and nephews.  She was the mother of two sons, Corey (LeAndra) Woodruff of Waterloo, IL and Craig (Megan) Woodruff of Sycamore IL.  She was most proud to be grandmother to "her boys" - Oliver, Simon, and Milo.

She was preceded in death by her parents.
