Shirley J. Hoerchler age 87 of Sycamore, IL died on Saturday November 17, 2012 in the Kishwaukee Community Hospital in DeKalb. She was born on November 12, 1925 in Collinsville, IL; Shirley was the daughter of Henry J. and Margaret (Civiski) Wedemeyer.

Shirley was married to her high school sweetheart Theodore J. Hoerchler MD., on May 26, 1946 in Collinsville, IL, he preceded her in death on February 20, 1994. Shirley and her late husband found their way here in 1962 moving here from Hawaii. Shirley graduated from Collinsville High School in the class of 1943.

Survivors include: daughter: Linda (Joseph) Buydos of St. Louis, MO, sons: David (Victoria) Hoerchler of Huntley, Daniel (Mary) Hoerchler of Sycamore, grandchildren: Dr. Tim Buydos of Denver, CO, Matt (Elizabeth) Hoerchler of Sycamore, Laura (Ben) Sells of Sycamore, Allen Hoerchler of Sycamore, 2 great-grandchildren: Hunter and Avery Hoerchler both of Sycamore, sister: Mary Ann (James) Nicol of Fairview Heights, IL, and several nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by: parents, husband: Theodore, granddaughter: Shelley Buydos, and sister: Betty Grafe.

Graveside service was held on Wednesday November 21, 2012 in the St. John?s Cemetery in Collinsville, IL, with Pastor Mark Horn officiating.
