Soledad Martinez

Soledad Martinez 65, of DeKalb died Wednesday, October 13, 2021, at home. She was born July 1, 1956, in Salvatierra Guanajuato, Mexico and was the daughter of Juan and Consuelo (Martinez) Martinez.

Soledad was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in DeKalb. She manufactured the cables and terminals at SK express in DeKalb.

Survivors include children; Maria De Los Angeles Calderon, Juan Enrike Calderon, Maria Guadalupe Calderon, Luis Miguel Calderon, and Jose Javier Calderon. Grandchildren; Alejandro Flores, Yadira Flores, Eric Calderon, Sysy Flores, Angie Flores, Abilene Dominguez, Janysa Calderon, Brian Calderon, Brandon Calderon, John Calderon, and Michael Calderon. Great grandchildren; Viviana Calderon, Alivia Calderon, Leonardo Gonzalez, Yazmin Gonzales, and Edwin Gonzales. Siblings; Javier Cruz, Arturo Cruz, Eduardo Cruz, Gerardo Martinez, Esther Martinez, Mario Martinez, and Miguel Martinez.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 16, 2021, at 8:00am-10:00am at Finch Funeral Home with the Funeral Mass immediately following at 10:00am at St. Mary Catholic Church in DeKalb with Father Eliserio Palencia officiating. Following the services cremation will be entrusted to Finch Crematory. Mask will be required for all the services.
