Virginia (Marion) Hertle
Virginia (Marion) Hertle 91, of Mendota, IL died Tuesday, December 29, 2015 at Heritage Manor in Mendota, IL. She was born August 7, 1924 in Chicago, IL and was the daughter of William A. and Marion L. (Lawrence) McDermott.
Virginia was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church. She graduated from DeKalb Township High School and lived most of her life in DeKalb and Malta before moving to Mendota.
Survivors include; one son Tom Hertle of Malta, a brother; William H. (Joan) McDermott of Polson, MT, and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Funeral mass will be held on Saturday, January 2, 2016 at 10:30am at St. Mary Catholic Church 321 Pine St DeKalb with Father Dean Russell officiating. Burial will be immediately following the mass at Fairview Park Cemetery in DeKalb. Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 2, 2016 at 9:30am until the time of service at the church.
