On March 21, 2011 Nolan Duffy, son of William Duffy and Ruth Nolan Duffy, passed away at the age of 90. He was surrounded by his loving family at his passing.
Nolan was born on February 2, 1921 and raised in Waterman, IL. He was a proud farmer and continued his family?s legacy working on the original homestead well into his 80?s.
A man of few words, he was always interested in his friends, family, Irish history, and agriculture. He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Erna Kroger Duffy, and son, Kevin Duffy. He is survived by his four daughters, Kathleen, Karon, Marilynn, Erin, and his three grandchildren, Kendra, Trevor, and Cameron.
