William (Bill) Miser

William (Bill) Miser, 56, passed away on April 4, 2025, at Alden Park Strathmoor in Rockford. He was born July 14, 1968, in DeKalb, IL.

Bill was a long-time resident of The Highrise (Taylor Street Plaza) in DeKalb and spent the last few years at Alden Park Strathmoor in Rockford.  He was an avid D&D player and enjoyed going to church when he was able.

Bill was preceded in death by his brother Jeff Miser and great nephew Jaxsen Miser.  He is survived by his parents Willard (Beverly) Miser and Phyllis Moore (Diane Jupa); his sisters: Teresa (Jeff) Roscoe and Patricia Attwell, brother: Jason Miser, nieces and nephews: Geoffrey, Christaan, Ryan, Jessie and Thomas Miser, Thomas Lieving and Katrina Attwell and great nieces and nephews: Lilliana, Greyson, Jonah and Cadense Miser and Ayianna Lieving.

Bill was well liked and will always be remembered with a smile by so many people.

A visitation will be held from 10:00am-11:00am Saturday April 12, with a service following at 11:00am, at Finch Funeral Home 310 Oak St., DeKalb, IL 60115

In lieu of flowers, it was Bill's wish that donations be made to RAMP Disability Resources and Services.  They provide no cost assistance to people who have suffered Traumatic Brain Injuries, and he benefitted greatly from their help.
